Raj Shoker is a British actress of Indian origin who works in Indian cinema - predominantly Punjabi Cinema. She started her acting career in 2022 with the Punjabi film Jind Mahi.[1]
Early life[edit]
Raj Shoker was born and raised in the city of Montfermeil in France. She traces her roots to Pasla, a village near Phagwara in Punjab, India. She moved to Coventry along with her family when she was 9, and began working as Radio Presenter for Radio Panj at the age of 17.[2]
Career[edit]
Raj Shoker began her acting career by being featured as the female lead in a music video opposite Satinder Sartaaj in "Udaarian".[2]In 2019 she started her career as a TV presenter at BritAsia TV. She was launched as the face of BATV's and first ever Official Punjabi Music Chart compiled by the Official Charts Company.[3] In 2022, Raj made her debut in Punjabi Cinema with Jind Mahi starring Sonam Bajwa.
