Ramachandran Textiles is a chain of retail textile shops at the heart of Trivandrum city providing garments at competitive prices for the last three decades.
HISTORY
Established in early 1980s, by Mr. Jayachandran, Ramachandran Textiles is a leading textile retailer in Trivandrum, Kerala upholding the core values of Trust and Quality with ISO 9001 certification. Owing to the success of the enterprise, the very street which was previously known as Pazhavangadi street, has come to be known as Ramachandran Street.
After the whopping success of Ramachandran Textiles, Mr. Jayachandran considered business expansion and started Jayachandran Textiles in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Originally started in 1998 in a single building at No. 27, Ranganathan Street Chennai.
BUSINESS
Ramachandran Textiles is now located in 2 locations across Trivandrum - One at Chalai (Near Eastfort, Trivandrum) and the other showroom is at Attakulangara, Trivandrum. Its Sister concern - Jayachandran Textiles now occupies five independent buildings in Ranganathan Street and one in Usman Road, near Pangal Park, Chennai. Later in the 2000 the group ventured into jewellery business by opening up Jayachandran Gold House. Other than the offline stores they have also launched www.jtpplaza.com in 2012, which is an online store for textiles and related accessories.
With separate outlets for gents, ladies and kids, which spread out across the crowded street in East Fort that connects Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple, one of the richest temples in the world, to the Pazhavangadi Maha Ganapathy temple, Ramachandran Textiles has a wide range of choice for all clothing needs of all age groups, for all occasions. Moving with the times, electronic goods, home appliances, home decor products, sports and fitness, footwear, etc are also available now in the showrooms.
