Rape[1] is one of the hazardous societal topical issues in Nigeria. It is more pronounced in the northern part of Nigeria than southern part. A survey has shown that 32.4% and 5.7% are sexually active adolescent males and females, and a silent epidemic among adolescents with implication of HIV infection.[2] Raping is described as the process of having sexual intercourse without her/his consent and it normally occurs by forcing or coercing the victim.[3] Numerous people, especially women, came out for peaceful demonstration, and called for the Nigerian Government to end the menace of raping.[4]
