Ravinder Singh Balyan is an Indian social activist, currently the National Secretary of the All India Jat Mahasabha [1]and OBC wing general secretary of the Aam Aadmi Party, Delhi.[2][3][4]

early life[edit]

Balyan was born on 4 september 1985 in Harauli village of Muzaffarnagar District in the Indian State of Uttar Pradesh in a Jat family. He pursued Bachelor of Business Administration degrees from Chaudhary Charan Singh University. In 2006–12, Balyan was elected as the state youth president of Janata Dal (Secular) Delhi state, commencing his political career. He was joined the Aam Aadmi Party on 3 January 2022.[5]

Activism[edit]

In 2006 he successfully led a campaign for the farm loan waiver. He participated in the 2020–2021 Indian farmers' protest.[6]
