RayNeo (Chinese: 雷鸟创新; literally: 'Thunder bird innovation') is a Chinese[3] smart glasses brand[4] founded in 2021. Incubated by TCL,[5] its main products include the V, Air,[6] and X series.[7] Its smart glass products are compatible with numerous USB-C devices.[8] Its representative products are the RayNeo X2,[9] and the RayNeo Air 2.[10] In 2024, the brand launched its first pair of standalone AR glasses.[11] As of Q1 2025, it was China's largest AR eyewear vendor.[12]

Backed by Fosun Capital, Goldstone Investment,[13] and Unicom Innovation Capital,[14] RayNeo is a sub-brand of TCL.[15] In January 2023, the RayNeo X2 was introduced.[16] In August, the brand rolled out the RayNeo V3 series.[17] In January 2026, the RayNeo X3 Pro was exhibited at CES.[18] The product is a pair of AR glasses equipped with waveguide technology.[19] In the same month, it raised more than 1 billion yuan in a funding round.[20]

History

RayNeo was spun off from TCL in 2021.[21] In 2023, a set of RayNeo mixed reality glasses was showcased at CES.[22] In March of the same year, it was invested in by Fosun Capital and Winreal Investment.[23]

In January 2025, RayNeo attended the CES Show.[24] In January 2026, it rolled out a pair of AR glasses with integrated eSIM connectivity.[25] In February, the RayNeo Air 4 Pro Batman edition became available.[26]
