Raymond Revel Shideler III is an American singer, songwriter and record producer based in Fort Worth, Texas. He has released thirty-five studio projects to date, including Sunrise (2018), More In Love (2017), and The Living Room (2021)..[1] Born in Burbank, California, Raymond grew up within a family of musicians. His mother, Rima Shideler, studied vocal performance at UCLA while his father, Ray Shideler, played jazz saxophone at Kansas State.[2] Raymond grew up in Burbank, attending the same high school and performing in the same prestigious show choir as Dove Cameron, Blake Lively, and Kelly Blatz.[3] At a young age, Raymond was linked with Andrew Lane who helped him produce his first EP, The Beginning. In addition to songwriting and producing, Revel has sung background for Demi Lovato[4], Little Big Town[5], Pharrell and Jesse McCartney[6] on NBC's The Voice[5], iHeart Radio's Jingle Ball[4] and The American Music Awards[7]

Early life[edit]

Revel was born in Burbank, California. He started playing piano by ear at age 5[8], but he did not pursue music until he lost a close friend in middle school[9], which led him to begin songwriting. He graduated from Burbank High School in 2014 and from Texas Christian University in 2018, with a degree in Entrepreneurial Management from the Neeley School of Business.[10]

Music career[edit]

2014-2018: Beginnings and "The Beginning"[edit]

During his first year at Texas Christian University, Revel created the very first all male a cappella group in his university's history, "The Horned Tones".[11] Revel studied business while releasing a self-titled EP titled "The Beginning" that featured the song "Notice Me", as well as his first single "One More Dance" which went on to compete in the Dances With Films Film Festival in 2017.[12] This was Revel's first film festival submission.

2018-Present: Continued Music Career[edit]

Revel continued releasing singles throughout college, releasing "More In Love" in 2018 and it's follow-up Sunrise in 2018.[13]

Following the release of "Sunrise", Revel released three more singles in 2018, eleven singles in 2019, And thirteen singles in 2020.[14] In 2021, Raymond released his debut album "The Living Room".[15] Raymond has released 3 singles throughout 2021 as well.
