ReRave is a rhythm video game created by a Step Evolution.[1]

Gameplay[edit]

Players touch the middle of on/off buttons which rotate and hit the middle in time with the music all over the screen. Players must hit them when they reach the middle. Their score will be calculated by accuracy, flow, and how close they were to touching the middle.

Players can buy song packs and additional features for the game in the mobile versions as downloable content. There is a global online leaderboard that says where player stands for the iOS versions.

Development[edit]

The game was created in 2011 when Kyle Ward, founder of Step Evolution wanted to create a rhythm game with no loading times and smooth gameplay. The "fast load time" was only available if "extended access" was purchased for $20, attracting criticism.[2] The game was released for arcades[3] and on iOS in 2012, but was removed in 2018 for unknown reasons.[4][5] The game was shown in at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany in 2014.[6]

ReRave Arcade was released on 2012 and unveiled at IAAPPA.[7][8][9]
