Rea Stark
Rea Stark (born June 11, 1983 in St. Gallen) is a Swiss industrial designer of Croatian descent.
Life
Stark graduated from the GBS School of Design in St. Gallen.[1] He then founded his own design company. Together with Anton Piëch, son of former VW supervisory board member Ferdinand Piëch, Stark founded Piëch Automotive in Zurich in 2016.[2][3]
In 2020, Stark founded Quantum Group, with which he made an $11.5 billion offer to Volkswagen for the Lamborghini brand,[2] prompting global news coverage.[4][5][6] The sale has so far been rejected by VW Group (as of September 2021).[7][8]
At the end of 2020, Stark left his role as co-CEO of Piëch Automotive, thus retiring from the company's operations, according to the company, but continues to be responsible for the creative area as chief design officer.[9]
Stark lives in Zurich.[2]
