Real Vision
Real Vision Television is a start-up company[1] that offers on-demand, subscription (SVOD) and advertising (AVOD)[2] video services which provide content on economics and investing. Former fund manager Raoul Pal launched the service in June 2014[1] with partners Grant Williams, Damian Horner and Remi Tétot.[3][1]
Real Vision Television features discussions with research analysts, hedge fund managers, newsletter writers, traders and other experts on finance and/or economics.[3] The company raised $5 million in Series A round financing and an additional $10 million in a Series B round. They distribute their programming on Apple TV and have a content distribution partnership with Thomson Reuters (Refinitiv).[4] Since inception the company has offered over 1,200 videos.[5] As of 2018 the service has about 20,000 subscribers who pay $180 annually for their subscriptions.[1]
The site also offers free videos; among them an almost one-hour interview with Mark Cuban, and another with Stanley F. Druckenmiller.[1]
In October 2017 Real Vision released a 5-part television documentary series, “A World on the Brink with Dee Smith," [6] [7] also shown on PBS.[8]
