Reema Thareja is an Indian author with her work in the area of computer science and programming. She is currently affiliated as Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Shyama Prasad Mukherji College for Women, University of Delhi.[1][2][3]

Her books "Python Programming Using Problem Solving Approach (2019)" and "Data Structures using C (2011)" [4] are bestsellers in programming.[5]

Early life and education

After completing her Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in 2003, Reema also completed her MCA in 2005 from the same university. She defended her PhD in "Requirements Engineering Approach to Improve Data Warehouse Quality" in 2017 from Jagannath University.[6]

Career

Thareja is Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Shyama Prasad Mukherji College for Women, University of Delhi since July 2011. Prior to joining Shyama Prasad Mukherji College for Women, she worked as Assistant Professor at Institute of Information Technology and Management for about 7 years from July 2005 until August 2012.[7]
