Ododo Oghenereke known by the stage name Reklyn is a Nigerian afrobeat musician and songwriter from the Delta state.[1][2][3]
Early life and education[edit]
Ododo was born in Irri in the Delta State, Nigeria into a family of six. He started his education in Delta State and later continued to the Institute of Continuing Education(ICE).[2]
Reklyn takes inspiration from Fela Kuti, Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Olamide, Don Jazzy and Popcaan to pursue music.[4]
Career[edit]
Reklyn started music professionally in 2019 and released his debut single, "Stand By You," which featured T Classic and Buckwylla, he then followed this with the official music video of the song and released his first solo single "Aisha".[5][6][7]
In recent times, Reklyn took to his social media platforms to charge stakeholders of Afrobeat to invest more in the genre and breakthrough the intentional market.[8]
