RemyShittu Remy (born December 27, 1977) in Lagos Island is a Nigerian Council Leader.[1][2] He is the council leader of Isolo local government area and the founder of The Remy Shittu Foundation, a foundation to help the less privilege, which was launched on December 27, 2017.[3][4]

Remy Shittu attended the Nigerian Navy Secondary School in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. He studied Computer science at Lagos State University, he also attended Nexford University, He earned his master's degree at the University of Lagos.[5][6]
Career[edit]
Remy Shittu On Thursday, December 27, 2017, the Remy Shittu Foundation was launched. The foundation has partnered with other NGOs, donated to charity, and given back to the community, especially to the less privileged, students, the elderly, and the physically challenged.[3]
Remy Shittu Remy is the council leader (speaker) of Isolo Local Government. He was the leader of the legislative arm of Isolo LCDA between 2017 and 2021.[7]

In partnership with the National Association of Proprihetors of Private Schools (NAPPS) Oshodi-Isolo Chapter, He hosted 1,200 Nursery, primary, and Junior Secondary school students on Children's Day in 2018, where educational competitions were, held. Certificates, gift items, cash, trophies, and educational material were presented to students and schools that participated and emerged in the top categories.[8]

He was also nominated by the US Consulate in Lagos for the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) to participate in the US Electoral Process during the Mid-Term Elections between October 27 and November 17, 2018.[4][9][10]
