Renova Energy is a California-based solar and battery storage company.[1][2]
Company history[edit]
In 2006 Renova Energy was founded in Palm Desert, California by Vincent Battaglia,[3][4][5] who serves as the company's president and CEO.[6] The company's CFO is Dixie Faber.[7] Renova is a solar power plant builder for residential and commercial buildings.[8] In 2015 the company had $30 million in revenues and employed 130 people.[9] In addition to solar installation, Renova also runs electric car charging stations powered by solar energy.[10] In 2012 the company was accredited by the NABCEP[11] and in 2014 Renova was named the SunPower National Residential Dealer of the Year.[12][13]
In 2018 the name was changed to Renova Energy.[14] Since 2016, the company has been an ESOP[15], meaning every employee over the age of 21 becomes a part owner in the company after one year of full-time employment.
