Republic of Florida is a militia based in Tallahassee, Florida and run by Jordan Jereb. The militia seeks to create a white ethnostate in Florida. The militia also maintains ties to numerous anti-Semitic and neo-Nazi groups and militias including a militia called the "Attomwaffen Division" which is linked to the killing of a Jewish student as well as four others[3]. Republic of Florida also allegedly had links to Nikolas Cruz the perpetrator of the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting allegations say Nikolas Cruz was a militia member and he attended training camps run by Republic of Florida, Jereb has denied these allegations but still said Cruz is indeed a member of ROF.
Jereb the leader of the group takes influence from the neo-Nazi writer James Mason and runs a YouTube channel called "SIEGEWAVE" in reference to the book "Siege" written by James Mason that explains how a White Revolution can be achieved, one video on SIEGEWAVE titled "A patch with good advice" shows a patch with large lettering saying "READ SIEGE" on a vest with ROF symbols[4]. In another video there is a video that calls on people to kill Jews and shows another member yelling “Gas the kikes, race war now."
Despite being called a "militia" they have no actual firearms other than various road flares and altered fireworks. Their membership is estimated to be no more than 8 people. They are considered generally harmless by the ADL. [5]
