Revolancer is a web-based services marketplace headquartered in Caerphilly that was founded in January 2021 by entrepreneurs Karl Swanepoel and Skye Brady.
Description
Revolancer enables online professionals to exchange digital services with one another in a time banking system. Freelancers can showcase their portfolios, allowing them to attract client work.
History
Revolancer launched as an online freelance marketplace in February 2021 as a dorm-room project while its founders were studying at Aberystwyth University, where the project won the university's InvEnterPrize entrepreneurship competition. [1]
In November 2021, SFC Capital invested £150,000 in Revolancer, [2] allowing the company to expand.
