Rezwan Razack is an Indian property developer, numismatist, coin collector and co-author of The Revised Standard Reference Guide to Indian Paper Money, a book written in collaboration with Kishore Jhunjhunwala, who is equally notable for his vast collection of antique coins adn banknotes.
Early life[edit]
He was born and raised in Bangalore, Karnataka.[1][2]
His grandfather was Hajee Abdul Sattar Sait, a successful trader after who a major road is named in Bangalore.[3]
He is the second son of Rezack Sattar, founder of the Prestige Group, the largest property developer of Bangalore.[2][1]
Education[edit]
Being a native of Bangalore and expected to join his family business of property development, he graduated with a degree in commerce from the St. Joseph's College of Commerce.[2][1]

He currently serves as the joint Managing Director of the Prestige Group, which is a family business started by his father.[3]
Coin collecting[edit]
He also serves as the Chairman of the International Bank Note Society, India Banknote Collectors’ Chapter.[3]
Prestige Museum[edit]
He laid the foundation for the currency museum at Prestige Falcon Towers on Brunton Road which chronicles the history of banknotes in India.[3][4] The Museum was formally inaugurated on Saturday – 15 February 2020 by Dr. C. Rangarajan the ex Governor of Reserve Bank of India. It is headquartered on the 2nd floor of Prestige Falcon Towers, in the centre of Bengaluru’s CBD area.[5]
The museum includes banknotes from the early 1800s, early private and presidency banks. The portrait notes of British monarchs such as Queen Victoria, King George V and VI are also included in the museum, while India’s colonial history has been preserved through the notes from French and Portuguese India. Indian Notes used in Burma and Pakistan and rare notes used in the Persian Gulf States and by Haj pilgrims are also preserved in the museum.[3][4]

The book provides the entire history of Indian bank notes since 1770, when the Bank of Hindostan, a private bank situated at Calcutta issued its first banknotes of India. Nevertheless, the earliest banknote to be featured in the book is dated 1812 and is by the Bank of Bengal. This book features a comprehensive listing of all Indian banknotes since that date till the present.[6][7]
He is also the author of One Rupee One Hundred Years 1917-2017, a book which chronicles the history of the Indian 1-rupee note.[3]
