Rhyme & Reason Records is an American record label that is from New Jersey.
Rhyme & Reason Records was founded in Jersey City, New Jersey, by Emmy Black in 2015. Prior to Rhyme & Reason, Black worked at a recording studio and graduated from Ramapo College with a degree in Music Industry, and was a former A&R person at Bar/None Records and The Orchard. On signing artists, Black states that her ambition is to release "music that helps people, music that you keep going back to whenever you go through a breakup or you feel happy, music that changes people's lives." Rhyme & Reason Records partook in the 2018 North Jersey Indie Rock Festival. The label name comes from the two princesses, Rhyme and Reason, from the children's fantasy novel The Phantom Tollbooth.
