Shen Quanrui (Chinese: 沈泉锐; pinyin: Shěn Quánruì; born May 20, 2004), known mononymously as Ricky (Hangul: 리키), is a Chinese singer based in South Korea and signed under Yuehua Entertainment. He is best known for competing in the reality competition show Boys Planet, where he ranked fourth in the final episode, making him a member of the South Korean boy band Zerobaseone in July 2023.[1]
Early life and education
Ricky was born on May 20, 2004, in Shanghai, China. He lived and studied in Los Angeles, California during his adolescence and attended Orange County School of the Arts.[2][3][4] At the age of 9, he attended Shanghai Yindu Artist College for acting.[5] He trained for 2 years and 2 months at Yuehua Entertainment before joining the survival show Boys Planet.[6]
Career
2022–present: Boys Planet and Zerobaseone
On December 29, 2022, Ricky was unveiled as a contestant on Mnet's reality competition show Boys Planet.[7] During the show's premiere on February 2, 2023, Ricky was one of the eight trainees representing Yuehua Entertainment, and performed NCT 127's "Kick It" alongside global trainees Zhang Hao, Ollie and Brian for his first star evaluation on the show.[8][9]
On April 20, 2023, he placed 4th on Boys Planet with a total of 1,572,089 points, securing his debut as a member of the South Korean boy band Zerobaseone (ZB1).[1] The group officially debuted under WakeOne Entertainment with the EP Youth in the Shade on July 10, 2023.[10][11]
In June 2024, Ricky made his first appearance on Chinese television through the variety show Keep Running alongside group member Zhang Hao.[12]
In July 2024, Ricky made his first solo cover appearance on the July edition of Madame Figaro Hommes China.[13][14][15]
In January 2025, Ricky appeared as a guest on the popular South Korean Youtuber, Beauty vlogger and singer Risabae's Youtube channel, and gained attention for his webtoon-like visuals.[16][17][18][19]

In October, 2024, Ricky was announced as an ambassador for the Chinese skincare brand UNISKIN.[20][21] On October 15, 2024, Ricky was announced as an ambassador for the Chinese personal care, beauty and cosmetics brand KATO-KATO.[22][23] In July 2025, he was introduced as a brand ambassador for the American cosmetics brand Urban Decay.[24] In August 2025, Ricky was announced as an ambassador for the Chinese skincare brand HAPSODE.[25][26]
Fashion
In March 2024, Ricky as a Friend of the House for Italian luxury fashion brand Gucci, attended Gucci's Ancora Celebration in Shanghai.[27]
In October 2024, Ricky attended the brand event for the Italian luxury fashion house Prada, "THE IMPRESSION - The Sound of Prada Music Series" in Seoul.[28]
