Rina Kay (Greek: [Ρίνα Κέι]; born 8 May 2006), is a Greek-Cypriot singer, songwriter and producer.
Life and career[edit]
2006–2022: Early life and career beginnings[edit]
Rina Kay was born on 8 May 2006 in the city of Nicosia, Cyprus. She was raised in there and she went to a music school at the age of 12. At 13 years old, Rina started writing music and eventually in March of 2021, she released her first single "Matia". In September 2022, Rina released her breakthrough single "Ela".
2022–present: Santorina and 222[edit]
In July 2022, Kay released her first album "Santorina", featuring songs written in Greek and English. Five subsequent singles, "Matia", "Psema", "Falma", "Mono Ego", "To Kyma" were released from the album. Her following EP album "222" was released in October 2023, contains five songs: "Not Like Rina", "Ase Ta Logia", "Afto Tha Kano", "Të Dua", "Agapi", written in Albanian, Greek and English.
Artistry[edit]
Rina Kay's music style has generally been regarded as Pop, although her music also includes various styles of musical genres such as R&B and Hip-Hop. She has cited Albanian artists Dhurata Dora and Tayna as her favourites.
