Rise.ai

Rise.ai, an Israeli eCommerce SaaS company developing gift card and membership store credit software for online stores, was founded in 2015 by Yair Miron. In 2020, Rise.ai became a gift card provider for Facebook, Instagram and Google.

In May 2021 Rise.ai was acquired by Wix.com

History

Founded in 2015 under the name GiftWizard, the company specialized in gift card & loyalty software for eCommerce stores. In November 2016, Rise.ai accomplished its pre-seed funding of $450,000 led by Peregrine VC, together with a $1 million grant from the Israel Innovation Authority.[1]

In May 2020, Rise was selected to be a gift card provider for Facebook and Instagram as part of Facebook’s initiative to support small businesses during the COVID-19 global pandemic.[2]

In June 2020, Rise was selected to be a gift card provider for Google.[3]

Rise.ai is a Shopify Plus certified technology partner since September 2020.[4]

In May 2021 Rise.ai was acquired by Wix.com.[5]
