Riva is a fictional Brazilianfootballer who played as a forward. He is considered as one of the best players ever in fictional street football and was voted as Player of the 1990 Decade by FIFA, IFFHS and WFU.

Career

Club

In 1989 while playing for Santa he was loaned to FS for the 1989 Masters. Riva then played for France Sav from 1989 to 1992 while he was loaned to Vecio 3 times during that period. In 1990 he was loaned to Vecio and played in the 1990 Italia. In 1991 he was loaned to Vecio again and played in the 1991 Copa America (runner up).

In 1991 Bijetus offered $1 million to FS but it was rejected. During his time with FS there was a competition with Zicinio, Renata and Rorpario, while Romero was also there. Once Zicinio signed for Kimo Eners in 1991 he switched from no11 to no10.

In early 1992 he was loaned to Vecio again for the Carioca. In the summer of 1992 Riva left the Carioca league and signed for Paulista ambitious club Polmer. As part of the deal Riva would play as loanee in the 1993 Copa America. He retired in 1995 just before te 1995 WFU World Cup to take over Riveira as a manager, aged 37. But soon he left Riveira and did not lead them to the 1995 WFU World Cup.

In 2009-10 he returned to coaching taking over Olympou which led to the Champions League semifinals. He took over Polmer for the 2010 World Cup and led them to their 3d title, having Johnny Gold and Sontso as players. In January 2011 he became Polmer's player-manager, aged 52 and played for them until early 2012 when he took over Cacao Rozil as player manager.

His aim was to play in the 2011 World Cup and surpass Romero as the FIFA Top scorer of all time. He scored his 772nd goal in 2011, but the 2011 WC was cancelled. Instead an unofficial WC was held in Larissa, and Polmer had 3 defeats.

In May 2012 he signed for Sarie from Quadrad as player manager and led them to the 012 World Cup in London where he scored 3 goals and even in the Final, aged 54, but Sarie lost to Nuala. After the final he quit Sarie's management and football.

In 2014 he returned for the 2014 Copa Masters, aged 56 and played in the final against Martain and Arvines Maron, aged 56. Polmer won in penalties
