Rob Nagle (born September 3, 1970) is an American actor,[1] director, teacher,[2][3] and acting coach.
Early life and education
Nagle was born in Eugene, Oregon, then raised in DeKalb, Illinois,[4] and in Williamsburg, Virginia. He graduated from Lafayette High School in Williamsburg in 1988,[5] and from Northwestern University in 1992,[6] with a double-major in theatre and philosophy. He has been married since October 7, 1995, to Heather Allyn,[7] who works as a casting director in reality television and has been nominated for multiple Emmy and Artios awards.
Career
Nagle is an actor who works in film, television,[8] [9] commercials,[10] and theatre.[11] He is known for his performances in NCIS: Los Angeles,[12] Batwoman,[13] Dynasty,[14] Safety,[15] To Hell and Gone,[16] Superior Donuts,[17] Bad Samaritan,[18] The Librarians,[19] Fishing Naked,[20] Grey’s Anatomy,[21] Criminal Minds,[22] New Year’s Eve,[23] Mad Men,[24] Eli Stone,[25] Cold Case,[26] Everwood,[27] Buffy the Vampire Slayer,[28] The Guardian,[29] and Dawson’s Creek.[30]
Nagle has also worked in theatres across the country, including Denver Center for the Performing Arts,[31] Fountain Theatre,[32] Troubadour Theater Company,[33] Boston Court Pasadena,[34] Pasadena Playhouse,[35] Antaeus Theatre Company,[36] LA Theatre Works,[37] New World Stages,[38][39] South Coast Repertory,[40] Skylight Theatre Company,[41] Open Fist Theatre Company,[42] Portland Center Stage,[43] Mark Taper Forum,[44] Baltimore Center Stage,[45] San Jose Repertory,[46] Old Globe Theatre,[47] Shakespeare Theatre Company,[48] Goodman Theatre, and Bailiwick Repertory.[49]
