Robert Edward Grant is the founder, chairman, and managing partner of Crown Holdings, LLC, (formerly Strathspey Crown LLC), a growth equity holding company based in Newport Beach, CA.[1]

Overview[edit]

Robert is an entrepreneur, inventor, and founder of several companies. He is the holder of numerous patents in diverse disciplines including biotechnology, photonics, music and cryptography. Additionally, he is also an artist, sculptor, and musician, with interests spanning many fields including mathematics, geometry, and physics. He is the author of the Best-Selling book 'PHILOMATH-The Geometric Unification of Science and Art Through Number' as well as 'POLYMATH-The Aquarian Enlightenment', and 'NEUROMINED-Triumphing Over Technological Tyranny'.[2][3] Robert has also published his numerous illustrative and geometric artwork in Volumes I-III of 'The Mirror of Consciousness.'

Grant holds an M.B.A. from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and has a BA from Brigham Young University. He also attended Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program. He is the founder and CEO of Ceyeber Corp, and Crown Sterling Ltd LLC.[4] He is a co-Founder of Evolus, Inc (NASDAQ: EOLS) and AEON Biopharma, Inc (NYSE: AEON) and co-Founder and Board member of ALPHAEON Credit Inc. Also, he served as the founding CEO of Alphaeon Corporation from February, 2013 until August 2016.[5][6]

In 2010 he was the CEO and President of Bausch and Lomb Surgical. Prior to this, from 2006 to 2010 he led Allergan Medical as President and led $3.4 billion Allergan-Inamed post-acquisition integration.[7]

Robert joined Biolase in 2003 as a chief operating officer and served as Director, Chairman of the Board, CEO, President, COO, and CFO of Biolase Technology.[8][7]

From 1997-2003, Robert held various management positions at Lumenis.[9][10]

Robert is the host of the hit Gaia Streaming TV do docuseries 'Code X' and has been featured in Thrive II as well as several other television and streaming television programs.
