Robert Dobson Millner (born 4 September 1950) is an Australian corporate executive. He is head of many large Australian organisations including chairman of Washington H. Soul Pattinson, New Hope Coal, Brickworks Limited, Choiseul Investments and NBN Television. [1][2]

Biography

Millner attended Newington College (1959-68) as a boarding student from the age of eight at Wyvern House. In his final year at school he was the Captain of the 1st XI Cricket and played in the 1st XV Rugby and served as a Prefect.[3] After leaving school he worked as a stockbroker for two years. From 1970 until 1983 he farmed in Cowra, New South Wales and in 1984 joined the family business, Washington H.Soul Pattinson, as a director. In 1997 he was appointed deputy chairman of Souls and since 1999 he has been Chairman of the company. [4]
