Robert W. McGee (1947- ) [1] is a perpetual student and a Best-Selling Novelist.[2][citation needed]

Martial Arts[edit]

He is a world champion in taekwondo,[3] karate, kung fu and tai chi (both Yang and Sun styles).[4] His career gold medal count is 900+. McGee started Taekwondo under S. Henry Cho. [5] He studied for many years before pausing in 1986.


Early Life[edit]

McGee is a native of Erie, Pennsylvania. [6] Raised as a Catholic is what McGee credits for his "rentless drive." [7]

Academic Degrees[edit]

In 2006, he was a professor at the Florida International University,[8] and is now at Fayetteville State University.[9] He has lectured, lived or consulted in more than 30 countries, and drafted the accounting law for Armenia and Bosnia and reviewed the accounting law for Mozambique.[10] He holds 23 academic degrees, including 13 earned doctorates. One of his PhDs was awarded by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He defended his PhD dissertation in International Economics there at 4pm on June 30, 1993, which was the last day Hungary offered a Soviet-style PhD. That probably makes him the last person in Hungary to earn a Soviet-style PhD. He also did nondegree studies at Saint Petersburg State University and Odessa National Polytechnic University. He is also an attorney and a CPA (retired).[11] He additionally has 4 degrees from Excelsior College.[12] As well as a graduate degree from the University of Warwick[13]

He has written more than 60 books, including The Philosophy of Taxation and Public Finance. [8]
