Robert Walpole, 8th Earl of Orford
Robert Walpole, 8th Earl of Orford (born 14 October 1965) is a British peer and landowner.[1] He succeeded to the earldom in 2016 on the death of his father, Edward, 7th Earl of Orford.[2]
Family[edit]
Lord Orford was born the eldest son of Edward, 7th Earl of Orford, and his wife Lady Margaret Wellesley, now the Dowager Countess of Orford. He was educated at Eton before attending Oxford.
Lord Orford has been married twice. Firstly to Anne Pell (b. 1980) from 1999 to 2018 with whom he had three children. Secondly to Maia Boyle (b. 1999) from 2018 to present with whom he has two further children.
His heir apparent is his eldest son from his first marriage, styled Viscount Walpole.[3]
