Rocco Basile is an American business executive and philanthropist. He is the founder of Avo Construction, a construction firm.
Early life[edit]
Born in New York City, Rocco completed his early education from the Xaverian High School. In 1990, he received a bachelor's in accounting and finance from New York University.
Career[edit]
Rocco founded Avo Construction in 2011, a successor of Basile Builders Group. Basile Builders Group was based in Tribeca.[1]
As a philanthropist, Rocco has helped establish an after-school program and is the recipient of the Children's Champion Award from the Children of the City program.[2] He is a member of the board of directors of the Children of the city and has supported ComAlert and Safe Horizon.[3]
In 2011, he received the Man of the Year Award given by the New York State Senate.
