Early Life[edit]
Rohit M Reddy was born in Hyderabad. He completed his schooling from The Hyderabad Public School in Begumpet and graduated from Purdue University, in West Lafayette, Indiana. When he was 23, he lost his father, Late M. Mohan Reddy. His mother, Pratima Reddy, remained to be his pillar of strength and encouragement. Rohit is not married by choice. He also has a younger sister, Nitya Reddy.
Business Career[edit]
Signature Developers, a venture of Rohit Reddy, is a privately owned property development company that has been operating since 2006. The company has a large land bank and it aims to bring real estate developments like high end residences, hotels and stadia to Hyderabad, India. The company focuses on projects that are luxurious and sustainable.
Signature Developers’ first project, Signature One, is a luxury residential complex of 25 premium apartments in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. It was launched with a fashion show in January 2015 by Manish Malhotra. The company made the decision to sell the apartments at Signature One only after the complex was completely built.
Their second project, Signature Horizon, and their most recent project, Signature Estates, are both currently under construction. Signature Horizon, being built on a hill-top in Dollar Hills, Manikonda, will consist of 82 apartments. Signature Estates, being built to be a gated complex on a 100 acre land parcel, located in Maheshwaram, near the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad, will consist of 93 mansions on plot sizes of one acre and half acre.
Non-Business Activities[edit]
Rohit Reddy is a fitness and fashion influencer. He has appeared in multiple issues of the magazines You & I and Wow, amongst others, where his interests in fitness and fashion have been covered.
He is also involved in several charitable initiatives that work towards education, health and women empowerment.
Awards[edit]
Rohit Reddy won the Economic Times Promising Entrepreneur of the Year in 2019 and the Economic Times Best Brands for his venture Signature Developers in 2019.
