Roldan Sangcha-an (born December 4, 1990) is a Filipino mixed martial artist known for having competed in the Flyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.[1]

Mixed martial arts career[edit]

Sangcha-an made his professional debut fighting in Team Lakay Wushu Xanda – MMA Eliminations 5: Machines, his team's own promotion. He compiled a record of 4 straight wins before signing with the UFC.

Ultimate Fighting Championship[edit]

Sangcha-an's UFC debut was against Richie Vaculik at UFC Fight Night: Te Huna vs. Marquardt on June 28, 2014 in Auckland, New Zealand.[2] He suffered his first defeat via unanimous decision.[3] He was scheduled to face Jon Delos Reyes on May 16, 2015 in the first ever UFC event in the Philippines at UFC Fight Night: Edgar vs. Faber.[4] He lost the fight via a rear-naked choke in the second round but earned fight of the night honors.[5] On February 11, 2017, Sangcha-An was released by the UFC along with hundreds of other fighters.[6]
