The Rollin' 20s Neighborhood Bloods, also known as the 20's gang and 20 Bloods, are a large subset of the Bloods street gang. They are predominantly based out of Los Angeles, California but have expanded into other states across the US since their initial foundation in 1975.

Overview[edit]

Founded in the West Adams, Los Angeles community in the 1970s, the Rollin' 20s Bloods were originally formed as the Neighborhood Bloods before adding the name extension "Rollin’ 20s" around 1978.[6]

Members are known to wear red, the traditional color of the Bloods. In addition to this, they sport apparel of the ____________, particularly ________________.

In 2018, Rollin' 20s Bloods member Naeem Edwards was sentenced to 25 years in prison for the 2017 murder of Justin Davis, a fellow Bloods member. Investigators say that Edwards killed Davis in order to increase his status in the gang as Davis had been a high-ranking member.[7]

Following a year-long law enforcement investigation dubbed Operation Caged Dove that began in March of 2019, 46 members of the Rollin' 20s Neighborhood Bloods were indicted for charges of racketeering, murder, kidnapping, drug trafficking, aggravated assault, and violations of the Georgia Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act (GSGTPA), in addition to other crimes. 25 of these said individuals were arrested and the remaining 21 remain at-large.[8]
