Guilhem Verove (born 2004) is a French orienteer who competes in foot orienteering. He represents the French Orienteering Federation and is particularly noted for his performances in sprint and knock-out sprint events.
Career
Verove competes internationally for France and is listed by the International Orienteering Federation with athlete ID 37270. He has been associated with the clubs Tous Azimuts Douai and Angelniemen Ankkuri.
In 2023, Verove won the silver medal in the sprint at the Junior World Orienteering Championships. He also recorded a seventh-place result in the sprint at the 2025 European Orienteering Championships.
In 2026, Verove won the men's KO sprint at the World Orienteering Championships in Genoa. Later that year, he also won the men's KO sprint at the 2026 FISU World University Championship Orienteering in Vila Real, Portugal.
Personal life
Verove grew up in Douai and began practising orienteering in 2014 after being introduced to the sport by his sister, Apolline.
