Romane Jimonet (born 9 February 1998), better known by the pseudonym Romy, is a French youtuber, influencer and author.

She began posting videos on the Youtube platform in 2014.[1]

Romane was born on 9 February 1998 in Rouen to a modest family.[2][3] She grew up in Montpellier.[4]

Career[edit]

Since 2014, Romane has been active as an influencer on Youtube and Instagram.[1] In her Youtube videos, she talks about fashion and beauty, her favorites and the questions that young girls ask themselves.[5] In 2019, with Chloé Bomcan, Romane wrote a novelized autobiography in 3 volumes.[1]

In August 2018, Romane created a secondary Youtube channel dedicated to ASMR.[6]

In October 2021, Romane collaborated with Durex for an advertising campaign to inform young people about sexuality.[7]

Controversy[edit]

In February 2018, she was accused by influencer Chloe B of copying her clothing style.[8][9]

Personal life[edit]

In March 2019, she made her relationship with Anil Brancaleoni official.[10] In February 2021, Romy announced her marriage proposal to Brancaleoni on an Instagram video viewed over 1.6 million times.[11][12][13]
