Ruchira Chaudhary is a writer based in Singapore.[1] She has served as a faculty member at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Singapore Management University (SMU), and the National University of Singapore.
Early life and education
Chaudhary was born in India. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics (Honours) from the University of Delhi and a master's degree in communications management. She later earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.[2]
Career
Before her career in writing, Chaudhary worked for Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Qatar Telecom (now Ooredoo) and the Commercialbank in Qatar, and Medtronic, AIG in Singapore.[1] Chaudhary is the co-founder of Uncommon Leadership Academy (ULA) and the founder of TrueNorth Consulting.[3][4]
Chaudhary is also a faculty member at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Singapore Management University (SMU), and the National University of Singapore.[4][5]
Writing
In 2021, Penguin Random House published her book, Coaching: The Secret Code to Uncommon Leadership.[3] The book introduced "4C+ model" (Capability, Consciousness, Confidence, and Clarity).[1] The book was positively reviewed by Business Standard[6], Business India[1], The Hindu Businessline and BusinessWorld.[7][8]
Chaudhary is a regular columnist for the Indian business newspaper Mint, where she writes on leadership and coaching.[9] She has also written articles for the Harvard Business Review.[3]
