Matthew Ruffino (born Februrary, 1991), professionally known as ruffiØ is an American musician, rapper and singer. Growing up in Michigan, ruffi0 originally played in local screamo and metal bands. After a serious car crash left him questioning his existence, he started to create rap about dealing with issues he was facing.

Matthew Ruffino was born on February 27, 1991 in Detroit, MI. Ruffino lived in over 11 different states. He was always on the move with his family while growing up never really settling.

Lyrically, RuffiØ's themes focus around depression, anxiety, and death. His music is written directly about his own struggles in life.[1]
