The Southern Indiana Rugged Maniac 5K Obstacle Course event has been held annually in Paoli, Indiana since 2011. The event currently takes place at Paoli Peaks.[1]

2016[edit]
Approximately 4,400 runners participated in the sixth annual event of Rugged Maniac in Southern Indiana on September 3, 2016.[2]
2012-2014[edit]
Lacy Williams Baumgart, a former runner at the University of Southern Indiana, was a two-time overall female winner at this event until she stopped running due to injuries.[3] Jill Vance, a cross country running coach for the Bedford North Lawrence High School team, has since also won twice in a row.[4]
