Rupal Shabnam Tyagi is an Aromatherapy practitioner and Perfumer. She firmly believes in the power of healing through nature and believes it is time we start reconnecting with it. Early Life And Education[edit]
For Rupal Shabnam Tyagi, Founder, Wikka, the key attribute for beauty is purity. Married into a family of royal lineage, Rupal was exposed to a life of regal traditions and beauty secrets known only to blue blood. Beauty practices had changed little over the centuries in her household, where simple natural products were used in grooming and maintenance. Regular visits to their family owned aromatic plantations and mango orchards in Nehtaur, Western UP, stoked her interest in aromatherapy and lead her to study the subject in detail and become a qualified aroma therapist.[2]
Taking up her passion for aromatherapy professionally, Rupal established India’s first and one-of-a-kind aromatherapy clinic in New Delhi, India. During her private practice, she successfully cured clients suffering from fibromyalgia, arthritis, PMS, body pain, sports injury, migraine and post operative care and various day-to-day problems such as acne, dermatitis, sun damaged skin, ageing, alopecia in women, hair fall and various lifestyle diseases. Her clients benefited immensely from her customized concoctions of pure essential oils and other natural products.
Her indepth experience in the field of aromatherapy and perfumery over the years led her to launch her own label, Wikka. The idea was simple – recreate a world of purer times, where royal beauty recipes were based on completely natural ingredients like essential oils, herbs and potions. Wikka’s journey has been one of zero compromise in formulation of products that are guaranteed to work miracles on the body and soul.
In 2008 as promoter ‘Rupal Shabnam Tyagi set up Aryan Essentials, a company that manages and owns aromatic plantation and is into manufacturing of essential oils and aromatherapy wellness products. Today the company is a well recognized name in the fragrance industry.
