RutOS is a unified operating system for Teltonika routers and is based on OpenWRT.[5] This system enables users to have an excellent user experience using Teltonika routers, since all the devices are easy to use due to an intuitive interface. This operating system empowers flexibility when migrating between different devices and platforms. Lastly, the system is open source, therefore every user can change and adopt RutOS.
