Ryan Elder (born September 29, 1977), is a San Antonio-based, music producer. He is known for his collaborations with The Outlawz, Spice 1, and Ace 1.

Career[edit]

The first project released under Elder Entertainment, LLC was with Tupac's rap group The Outlawz. Elder released the album Last Onez Left with the Outlawz on June 23rd, 2017.[1][2].

Elder then worked with West Coast legend Spice 1 in 2018 and recorded Platinum O.G. and released the album on July 29th, 2019 [3]. The album featured Too Short, Pimp C, Kurupt, Devin The Dude, MC Eiht, Big Syke, Hussein Fatal, Rappin 4-Tay, and Money B. The album was produced by Elder and Ace 1 [4]. Platinum O.G. debuted at #11 on the Apple/Itunes charts with critical acclaim [5].

Elder released Manifest with San Antonio rappers Worldwide, Lil Yodaa, and Sosanantone on August 21, 2020 [6]

Elder released a single with Grammy Nominated Singer Musiq Soulchild on December 18th, 2020[7]

Legal Issues[edit]

In May of 2016, Ryan Elder President and CEO of Elder Entertainment filed a suit against Houston-based producer Mr. Lee [8]. Elder Entertainment claims that Mr. Lee violated a contract by selling songs purchased by Ryan Elder Entertainment to other artist [9][10]. The case is ongoing as of September 2021.
