Ryohei Mori
Ryohei Mori is the CEO of Fuji Pigment Company Limited in Japan and also the President of Quantum Materials Technology. He's done significant research in industrial chemicals, batteries, and biodegradable materials.[1][2][3]
History
Mori graduated from the Kyoto Institute of Technology in 1997 with a degree in Applied Biology.[4] In 1999, he earned his master's degree in science from Kyoto University, followed by a PhD in engineering from the same university. In 2021, he completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School.[5][6][7]
Research & Career
Mori's work includes research on next-gen batteries, solar cells, and CO2 conversion technology.[8] He developed a rechargeable aluminum-based battery and petroleum-free biodegradable plastic.[9] His aim is to create eco-friendly technologies for a sustainable society.[10][11][12]
Mori is currently the CEO of Green Science Alliance and the Director of Green Science Lab.[13][14]
Awards and Honors
He received the Best H!NT Award in 2015 and the Global Metals Award by S&P Global Platts in 2018.[15][16]
