SK Jewellery formerly Soo Kee Jewellery[1] is a Singapore-based jeweller known for offering a wide range of jewellery products and mementos.[2][3]
History
Founding
SK Jewellery Group Ltd. was founded in 1991 and headquartered in Singapore.[4] The group was listed on the Catalist of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SGX: 42G) since 20 August 2015 after launching its initial public offering.[5] It has an established presence across the Asian continent with over 60 retail stores in Singapore, Malaysia, and in 2020, the Group delisted from SGX.[6][7][8]
Notable Milestones
- In 2004, SK Jewellery Group launched its own proprietary True Love diamond collection under SK Jewellery.[9][10] In 2008, the group won the Singapore Excellence Service Award and Singapore Prestige Brand Award. [11]
- In 2007, Love & Co. was set up to cater to the bridal market and in 2012, SK Jewellery Group pioneered 999 pure gold jewellery, which transformed the existing yellow gold market.[12]
- In 2015, it won the Changi Airport Group Outstanding Outlet Award[13] and Asia’s Top Influential Brand in Gold and Jewellery category.[14]
- In 2016, SK Jewellery Group opened a new corporate headquarters building at Changi Business Park[15] and also launched its e-commerce platform and in-store self-collection services.[16]
- In 2017, SK Jewellery Group partnered with International Institute of Diamond Grading and Research (IIDGR); a De Beers group company, to launch the new Lovemarque Diamond. The company also expanded SK Jewellery e-commerce offerings onto Lazada Singapore and was awarded license and exclusive distributorship for Peanuts in Singapore and Malaysia.[17]
- 2018, SK Jewellery Group expanded operations to Thailand and China through the Love & Co. brand. The company was also renamed from Soo Kee Group Ltd to SK Jewellery Group Limited in 2018.[18] It also launched SK Gold concept retailing 916 Gold jewellery.
- In 2019, the company expanded SK Jewellery e-commerce offerings onto Shopee Singapore. It also pioneered lab-grown diamond retailing in Singapore and launched Star Carat Shop. The company was also awarded license and exclusive distributorship for Pokemon in Singapore and Malaysia.[18]
