SOLIS
Kammal Zulu (born October 20, 1999), known professionally as SOLIS, is a Nigerian singer-songwriter. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, she began posting music and bedroom videos on the internet at age 16.
SOLIS rose to prominence following the success of the bedroom music video for her lo-fi single "Watch Me" in 2018. She subsequently performed at different shows and events and landed her some features on Odunsi and Lady Donli projects. Later on that year she released her debut single Angel (2019). Her second single Can't Breathe (2019) was well received and spawned a new reality for the coming-of-age singer & songwriter.

Early Life
She was born and raised in Lagos into the family of Mr & Mrs Zulu-Okafor. She attended Lagoon School in Lekki, Lagos where she obtained her O-level certificate, well known as SSCE, then moved to Bridge House College in Ikoyi, Lagos to finish her Cambridge A-level Examinations.
Career
She started her career in 2017 as a YouTuber and gained a lot of traction on the platform until she released her debut single "Watch Me" in 2018 on SoundCloud. Later that year she released her first official single "Angel" and was featured on Lady Donli's "Enjoy Your Life" Album and Odunsi The Engine's debut album "rare" along side acts like Amaarae & 234Jaydaa. With the minor success of Angel, SOLIS released another tune "Can't Breathe" that same year and would further perform at various shows and events in her hometown. In 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown she released a 6 track project exclusive on SoundCloud and Audiomack called "Ruled By Venus, Unfortunately".
She recently signed a deal with the budding label and FOREVATIRED camp "Tired Records".
2019: Angel, Can't Breathe and more
In October 2019, she released a single titled "Angel", the song became an ode to the souls and minds of Nigerians that needed comforting and reassurance. "Angel" was her official entry and breakout into the new world that awaits every Nigerian creative.
In December, SOLIS announced a new single to be released on several streaming platforms. On 18 December 2019, "Can't Breathe" was released and was well received all through Lagos city and Nigeria as a whole. Although its sad nature made it hard for more youthful Nigerians to be captivated by the solemn tune, it did the job it had to do for the community at large.
2020
During the COVID-19 Pandemic scare and lockdown, SOLIS decided to drop a 6 Track EP called "Ruled by Venus, Unfortunately" exclusively on SoundCloud and Audiomack.
