Sabir Shakir (Punjabi, Urdu: صابر شاکر; born 8 November 1982) is a Pakistani journalist and anchor who is currently working at ARY News as Islamabad bureau chief and presents his analysis in a show called The Reporters with Chaudhry Ghulam Hussain.[1] He has attracted 1.14 million subscribers on YouTube.[2]
Early life and education
Shakir was born on 8 November 1982 in Lahore, Pakistan.
He completed his university studies in the field of journalism.
Journalism career
He started his career as an anchor and journalist on ARY News program The Reporters,[3] working with Chaudhry Ghulam Hussain and on YouTube as well. Shakir started his YouTube Channel in 2019 with his name "Sabir Shakir" and is based in Pakistan.
Family
Shakir is married to Rabia Yasmin who is a 19 grade officer at NACTA.
