Saint Anselm Elementary School
Saint Anselm Elementary School is a Catholic elementary school in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. It holds children from pre-school to 8th grade, and is under the Archdiocese of Detroit for its education. Its staff include a pastor, counselor, and a faith formation leader. The message that Saint Anselm says for itself is to "provide the resources, opportunities, and direction for each student to grow in knowledge, understanding and practice of the Gospel message, consequences of their actions in school, and the mental and physical development of each student."[1] Students work their mind and their body. Adding to their teaching, art, Spanish, computers, music, and gym classes are added to their day. The school has strong parent involvement, and strives to promote a "well-rounded, Catholic-centered learning environment" for them. The campus includes a soccer field, two baseball diamonds, and playground equipment. The school building also includes a library, art room, computer lab, a gym, and a cafeteria titled "Cafe Moloney".[2]

Each sport is available under the CYO Athletics program by AOD.
Testing and Education
The school's testing is provided by the Star Renaissance Early Literacy, Math, and Reading Tests.[4] These tests help the teachers know how far the students are in their academics, and help students go farther in their classes. The primary goal is to judge how the children work in specific areas.
