Sajja Chandramouli (15 July 1927 – 26 November 2006) was a Doctor and politician. He served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Chirala Assembly constituency, Andhra Pradesh from 1981 to 1983 and 1985 to 1989. He was the leader of the Handloom movement.
Early life and education
Sajja Chandramouli was born in 1915 in a Devanga family in Vetapalem of Bapatla district, Andhra Pradesh.[1] He completed his schooling at Bandla Bapaiah Hindu Middle School Vetapalem.He completed his Intermediate from Andhra Christian Collage Guntur. He completed his MBBS from Andhra Medical Collage Visakhapatnam.[1]
Chandramouli finished MBBS in the year 1950, he came out with first class in Intermediate. Chandramouli got a Gold Medal in Human Physiology course.
Career
Chandramouli completed his House Surgeon in 1951 and Started his medical practice at Ivaanjilin Boothmishan Hospital. He started his own Hospital with name of his Sister Naagaratnam Hospital at Ponnur in 1952. He was Expert in Abdominal Surgery.
Political Career
Chandramouli started his political career in 1972. He contested as Independent MLA Candidate in 1972 and he lost small margin 154 votes and again he contested Janatha Party candidate in 1978 and he lost small margin 598 votes from Chirala Assembly constituency. He elected as a Janatha Party MLA in 1981 by-election of Chirala Assembly constituency
Chandramouli served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly from 1981 to 1983 from Janatha Party, representing the Chirala Assembly constituency, Andhra Pradesh and served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly from 1985 to 1989 from Telugu Desam Party .

Family Details
He was married in 1949 to Smt MalliKaamba. He has 3 sons and 2 daughters. His sons are Dr. Sajja Sudhakar Rao, M.B.B.S. DR.Sajja Ravindra Babu, M.B.B.S,F.C.C.P and Sajja Nagarjuna B.com,B.L and daughters are RukhmaBhayi and KasthuriBhayi.
