Salil V is an Indian filmmaker and writer. In 2015, he made his writing debut with Kohinoor (2015) starring Asif Ali and Indrajith Sukumaran.[1] He made his debut as a director in the film "Chathur Mukham" in 2021, along with Ranjeet Kamala Sankar.[2]
Career
Salil V started his career as an IT professional. In 2009 he met Ranjeet Kamala Sankar and the duo started working together on short films. Both self-taught, the IT professionals-turned-filmmakers have been working towards their goal for over a decade. Initially experimenting with short films, all edited and shot by them, the duo eventually landed an assistant directing gig with director Ranjith Sankar on Punyalan Agarbattis (2013).[3]
