Sally™ (sometimes stylized as Sally TM or Sally Trademark), is the stage name of Russell Atkinson[3] (born 14 February 1997),[2] a British drag performer best known for competing on the seventh series of the British television series RuPaul's Drag Race UK.[1]
Early life and education

Atkinson studied animation with a specialization in 2D and stop motion at university, and has worked as a motion artist for mobile gaming company LeoVegas.[3][7]
Career
Atkinson's stage name Sally™ is derived from Sally, a "flirtatious pyromaniac" NPC from The Sims 3. They won the Curious Arts Winter Vogue Ball in 2022.[8] According to the Shields Gazette, "Sally TM is a self described child of the internet, and this is something she also brings across into her looks - both in and out of the show."[9] She has been doing drag for approximately ten years[10] and hosts a monthly show in Newcastle.[9]
Sally™ competed on the seventh series of the British television series RuPaul's Drag Race UK.[1][11] On the show, she wore an outfit inspired by Tyne and Wear Metro.[12][13][14] On the second episode, she won a design challenge. She later placed "high" on the acting challenge. On the Rusical episode, she placed in the bottom two and lost a lip-sync contest against Tayris Mongardi to "Don't Rain on My Parade" by Shirley Bassey.[15] Sally TM was the fifth contestant to be eliminated from the competition.[16]
Personal life
Atkinson is based in South Shields and has also lived in Newcastle.[1] He has type 1 diabetes.[17] He has cited his artistic inspirations to be video game character designs, including Nina Williams from Tekken and Elise Riggs from SSX, as well as drag performers Acid Betty and The Villbergs, animator Lawrence Becker, and artist Anais Gosslein.[8]
