Salman bin Khaled (Arabic:سلمان بن خالد) is a Qatari poet. His beginnings were through the radio program “Fayed Al-mashayir” which is broadcast on the Qatari radio station, Voice of the Gulf. It is presented by radio Adel Abdullah and seeks to discover talents in many fields throughout the Arab Gulf region. Then his first poetry collection was published in 2017.  It is expected that his second poetry divan will be published in conjunction with the Doha International Book Fair.[1][2][3]

Works and Authoresses[edit]

The poet Salman bin Khalid wrote many poems of a romantic nature, which were published in a number of websites and printed magazines. He also wrote the words of many Gulf songs, such as the song “ Wlaa Tzaal” sung by Qatari singer Saud Jassim in 2018,[4] to date, he has been issued with a single poetry divan:

Competitions[edit]

In 2020, the poet Salman Khaled participated in the Diwan Al-Adaam event, which was held by the Qatari Ministry of Culture and Sports, and organized by the Qatar Centre for Cultural and Heritage Events, and the Qatar Poetry Centre.[13]
