Sam Ifeanyi Hart is a Nigerian lawyer and development specialist with expertise in administrative management, policy formulation, and leadership training. He has worked in both government and private sectors. He had a stint in the media where he worked as Group Editor at African Leadership Magazine[1] and as Chief Press Secretary[2] to Governor Theodore Orji of Abia State.
Early life and education
Sam Hart was born and raised in Sokoto, Northern Nigeria. Hart hails from Ohuhu, Umuahia North Local Government Area in Abia State. He is an alumnus of Abia State University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Master of Environmental Law (LLM). He received the Acumen Academy Fellowship in 2021[3] and is a member of professional bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Directors of Nigeria (IoD) and the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (ACIArb). He completed the Advanced Leadership Program at the GOTNI Leadership Centre,[4] the Senior Executive Course at the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies, (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos and the Public Leadership and Policy Certificate programme at the School of Politics, Policy and Governance (SPPG).
Career
Sam Hart has served as Director-General of the Abia State Marketing and Quality Management Agency,[5][6] Special Adviser to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State on Communications/Speechwriter.[7][8] His roles have involved policy formulation, protocol coordination, project management, and strategic communication.[9]
He chaired the Communications Technical Working Group for the Abia State Long Term Development Planning Committee[10] and served on the Manufacturing/Industry Technical Working Group for the Nigerian Medium Term National Development Plan 2021-2025 Committee. He also contributed to the development of the National Communications Strategy Document for the National Agency for Control of AIDS (NACA).
