Samuel Lee Taylor Nicolosi (born March 2, 1995), better known by his stage name Nicolosi (stylized as NICOLOSI), is an American recording artist and record producer. He grew up in Evanston, IL, a north side suburb of Chicago.[1] NICOLOSI currently lives in Los Angeles and has been working as a songwriter and producer for Warner Chappell Music since he was 17 years old. [2] In 2020, NICOLOSI signed his first artist deal with Seeking Blue Records. [3]
After providing uncredited vocals on the song Japan by Throttle in late 2019 [4], NICOLOSI began his solo career, releasing a string of well-received singles in early 2020.
Early life
NICOLOSI began recording and releasing music at the age of 12 after he got his first Pro Tools rig as a gift from his parents[5]
By age 17, after creating a series of acoustic EPs, he finished his first full-length album and gained the attention of Jon Platt, thus inking a publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music. [6] He left Chicago shortly after, moving to Los Angeles to pursue his career in the music industry.
