Sam Tabar birth name Samir Victor Tabar[2] is a hedge fund manager[3] turned entrepreneur in Canada. He graduate from the University of Oxford and studied law at Columbia School of Law in New York. Sam is founder of AirSwap[4] and serving as the CSO of Fluidity,[5] a decentralised finance company.[6][7]
Career[edit]
After law school, Tabar joined Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom LLP.[8] He worked at Skadden until 2004 and then moved to PMA Investment Advisors, a unit of Sparx Group Co.[9] In February 2011, Tabar joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch as its Director[10] and Head of Capital Strategy for the Asia-Pacific region.[11] Tabar was appointed as a Senior Associate at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP catering to hedge funds in September 2013.[12]
Entrepreneurial Journey[edit]
In 2017, Sam started Fluidity,[13][14] a company working towards shaping the future of finance. He is also a strategist at Airswap, a decentralised marketplace.[15]
